We have some good news to report. We have reached 100% of our one-time financial goal. We have one goal left and that is the $2,600 monthly support. We are currently at 39% of our monthly goal. Right now we have 10 churches that we are in the processes of contacting to see if they would be interested in supporting us.
We just found out today that the church in Peine, Germany may have 2 Let’s Start Talking teams (LST) coming this May and June. It is our desire to be able to help the church and LST teams with their readers. In order for our desires to become reality means we need to be living in Peine, Germany in May. We will continue to attempt to raise monthly support between now and then but once May is here we plan on stepping out on faith and moving to Peine, Germany. Of course this makes us excited and nervous all at the same time. Excited because it has been our desire for 4 years to return on a full-time basis. Nervous because stepping out on faith when one doesn’t have enough monthly financial support is naturally scary. We do know that since God feeds the birds and clothes the flowers that He will definitely take care of us (Matthew 6:25-34).

Thank you and thank you Marshall.
David,
I just happen to find mosaicmercy tonight. My son and I are one of the teams going with LST to Peine in June. We completed a training weekend in DFW a week ago and are still going through tour regular training now.
We were told that the first team from SHSU might not be going. I could be wrong, but that was what we heard at the training weekend. I hope to meet you and I pray that you make your monthly obligations. I understand about trying to reach your financial needs, as we are trying to do the same. Good luck and write back if you can.
Howdy Craig,
We just arrived yesterday to Peine, Germany. We went two years ago on our first LST trip. We really enjoyed it. Amanda and I actually first came to Peine, Germany in 2005 for a 9 month internship.
Now we are here to do your follow up work. We are looking forward to your stay here.
We hope and pray that you are able to reach you financial needs as well. We are steadily moving in the right direction with our monthly need.
See you in a few weeks. I am going to add your blog to my blogroll.
