Germany will be introducing 40 new going green McDonalds in 2010. What are the pros and cons of this endeavor?
Pro
- Saying one is Going Green is popular.
- McDonalds Obviously cares about the environment because they have two small shrubs present in this picture, oh and one tall tree in the background.
- McDonald’s helps the environment because they kill cows for their 100% beef. If you wonder how cows contribute to destroying the ozone layer I suggest you Google it.
- Bottom Line: McDonalds cares about our earth.
Con
- Actually Going Green is better than just saying it.
- McDonalds may not care as much as we first thought. I wonder how much timber had to be cut down to make this McDonalds? Maybe it is fake wood?
- Cows will continue to advertise for Chick-fil-A.
- Bottom Line: McDonalds is a hungry, greedy corporation who could care less about the earth and just wants to cash in on the “Going Green” buzz.
Do you believe McDonalds is really going green or do you think it is a marketing ploy to get more customers?
