  1. Interesting, it’s the servant aspect of Jesus that fascinates me the most. I’ve always loved that story of Jesus washing the disciples feet.

I have a friend who won’t hesitate to throw his conservative Christian faith in someone’s face, but he hates President Obama and Islam, amongst other things. I’ve brought up the love your enemies verse a few times, but it’s usually ignored. He’d probably have fits if he saw this. ;-)

The thing is, I could totally see Jesus doing exactly what he is doing in the picture.

I like what Greg Boyd said about this. He basically said if Jesus was willing to die for Osama then why would he scoff at the idea of washing his feet?

I am not sure why a follower of Jesus would look at this photo and shake their head. If they do shake their head then they got the wrong idea about what it means to follow Jesus.

Of course this is not to say that I get it right but if I got it right all the time what would be the point of following Him?

Gosh, this picture is so hard to understand. But I do think that it is so true.
